The Zoom! whitening gel contains hydrogen peroxide and is painted directly onto the teeth. Oxygen enters the enamel and dentin to whiten any discolorations, without changing the structure of the tooth. To accelerate the whitening process, an ultra-violet light is focused in on your teeth in 15 minute intervals. The desired result is typically achieved after 3-4 cycles. The Zoom! lamp increases the effectiveness of the whitening gel by 26% or more to achieve the desired shade.
